new to the detector game and have a question so simple you may think I am kidding: I lost my polorod prescribion lens in a field that has natural parire grass growing in it, I know the general location, how does one go about locating it with a detector and what kind do you recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim

Search in a grid pattern. Or start in the center and work your way out. Best of luck it may take awhile.

Thank you for the information, I don't even own a detector yet and need to know what works on glass and what settings one uses? Jim

A METAL detector will not detect glass unless there is some METAL attached to it!
