I'm not so sure it's the top to anything, it may be a small cold cream type bottle or something similar...

no, it is a top...it won't stand up turned upside down.

if it is a top,then it has to be from eorpean,france, england,thay used inside threds in bottles. 1890.1900s,1920s.

perfum, whisky, beer, soda,meds.yours was probaly,a sent,perfum,it my evena save or something like that.looks like 1920s.
