Hey everyone my family and I took a little hiking trip today in a local park and stumbled upon a foundation there was a tree that was uprooted and in the bottom of the tree was all these bottles in the roots there was one big bottle that was really ornate but I got greedy trying to get it and it broke the dirt around it was still a little froze anyway we all managed some bottles and had a blast my kids acted like they were digging for treasures it was a great time I don't know anything about bottles but I don't think they are too terribly old maybe you guys and gals could tell me a little more about em thanks for looking

I found a old gas card from the 50's there so I was guessing the same for the bottles

Hey SOD,

The dirt in that rootball is looking pretty ashy. Did you probe / dig a test hole in the crater?

No I didn't probe and yeah there were a lot of burnt stuff mixed in with it but the further we dug in the more bottles we found the one bottle I broke was twice the size of all of them so I'm not sure if it was a dump pile or if the place burnt and they bulldozed it all there or what

I have some of the same bottles. I live on a oil field lease near prue oklahoma. I have been told that our lease sets where a OIL BOOM TOWN used to be. I have found a bunch of old med bottles plus countless bottles that I dont even have a clue what they are but they sure look cool. That was a cool find. Good luck on your next hunt.
