My friend found it and we're wondering what it went on.

It has a nipple at the bottom/top and cube shaped logo I'm unfamiliar with on the side. It also says made in usa

Maybe a part of the old vacuums! I'm not really sure but great find. Could be the part that collects the dust

Haven't a clue what it is but it is a nice find fishinmcc! Maybe you can get a better picture of the logo?

Hey fishin,

Will a 60 watt bulb fit through the opening? Could you get a better photo of the embossed monogram and note any other embossing, please.

Reminds me of this outdoor lighting fixture. The globe keeps the bulb dry. If it were on (hot) and got wet the bulb would break.:

Hey fishin,

There's some embossed initials, or something within that "cube," that may be the clues to it's identification. The photo is kinda grainy...
