A tip for cleaning hard water stains on bottles and glass.

Having trouble with a stain in a glass bottle or vase? Sometimes this type of stain can be removed without being professionally polished.First fill the bottle with water,then drop in an alka-seltzer tablet (or 2),let soak for about 24 hours.Then rub the stain with a cloth or bottle brush.If the deposit is a chemical deposit from hard water,this treatment should remove it.If it is caused by the etching of the glass,then it cannot be removed without being proffessionally polished.Good luck and lets post some more bottles on this forum!
