Surprise!!

So I know there's not alot about metal detecting on this section.... But I was detecting a new spot behind my house, I got a hit for dime and zinc so I dug it, 10 inches later I'm scraping the side of some glass. There was 2 bottles/jars... I got real excited cause I know the stores if people burying jars...
So inspite of my excitement , I pulled out each jar and they were just clogged with dirt, so I wondered what was making the detector go off. There was a layer of foil or aluminum or something... But anyway, I had to call it quits off of 3 jars and 2 bottles... I just want some information on them. The green bottles say duraglas or duroglas or something like that.There's more down there it was just hard to get them because I cut my fingers, I'm taking gloves down tonight and digging them all. Thanks to all happy hunting.

Yes some big iron thing, it looks like a hubcap kinda. I will take a pic

It looks an old enamel dishpan to me.

some times people wood use old pans, pales fill them with trash and thow them in the hole.One time I found a ten gallon crock full of bottles and brocken dishes.
