Found this one today next to the river in some construction work. Handblown with what looks like a champagne( applied band) lip. There is no embossing and no chips or cracks. The top of the lip has a slight taper and is not perfectly horizontal. So what is it? Is it pre or post 1900? It stands 10 inches tall. It stands slightly to one side.

Bass,
I don't think that bottle is hand blown. It's a nice bottle but, we dug several of those in a dump in here in SW Georgia that the dump dated from 1895 -1908-ish. Several of those came up. I think that they were champagne bottles. JMO and the real bottle guys might know more. Good luck!

We have dug hundreds,,no exaggeration ! of these in the mining camps,I believe it is a champagne,I also believe it is mold blown, but was spun in the mold (like a hock wine) to erase any mold marks. PPC

That would explain why there's no visible seam. So its likely that it is a champagne from about turn of the century . Thanks guys
