Cool old jar I found

I found this Jar a while back and didn't know what to make of it so I kept it due too the ground top. It reads Conserve Jar on the front and has no other embossing. The top is ground and the seem stops about 2.25 inches down. The bottom has a lot of small bumps almost like a sand pontil. Any information on the value, circa, and rarity would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking!

TOC is about the right date, they are fairly common, half pints have the most value. They don't sell too well on eBay unless they are nuked to make them purple...
