Anybody know anything about fishing floats? I found a few at my local thrift shop, but the thing is they are not glass. They are a white ceramic type material with glass that was used to plug the hole where they were blown. Do they blow ceramic? maybe they are white glass? This has me stumped and I can't find any info on the internet. I did not buy them but I might go back tomorrow to take another look. You could tell they are authentic and old because of the water lines stained on them. Any ideas?

Do they blow ceramic?

I don't think so.

Photos would be helpful.

Here is a pic I was able to take. After further investigation I think it actually may be glass, just all white. WP_20131122_12_17_44_Pro.jpg

Anything ceramic, by definition, is fired clay, most of the time with glazes applied to give the piece a shiny look.

Very interesting I've never seen these in ceramic or white glass. All the ones I've seen are blue or green glass . Cool fins
