It's been much too quiet around these parts, so in an effort to liven things up and start conversation, I present two bottles I'd like to know more about. I believe both are medicinal. The first says J.I. BROWN & SONS BOSTON and I believe is somewhat uncommon. The second is embossed WmS DUNHAM MANUFACTURER NEW YORK. I'd like to know approximate age and use for that one. Thanks everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

The only bottle i can find like your brown and son is identical and its a dentist bottle. Not really sure what it would have contained.. I like the dunham bottle but don't have a clue what it contained either. Surely a medicine of some sort. Its a sweet looking piece of work.

The little clear bottle sells for between 4-14 dollars but the blue one sold has sold for 100+.

Oh and the blue bottle looks like it was 1840's and the most specific I could get to the little clear one was late 1800's.

Thank you both. That one website gave an interesting estimate of date, 1910-1940. Has to be 1920 or earlier right?

I was speaking about the clear one just to clarify. Cherrypicked, where did you see the Dunham sell for that kind of money? If it has, I scored because I bought that one and an open pontiled Dr. Jayne's for $60. Thanks

Your Dunham is more in the $400-800 range depending on height and condition, it comes in 7-3/4" and a 9-3/4" variants, the taller being more valuable...

Your all right it's been way to quiet down here that Dunham bottom is beaut. I love the twists in the neck but I have no idea about these bottles.

No way! $400-$800! I'm blown away! This bottle is the 7-3/4" one so I guess it would be in the lower end of that range. But that's still amazing considering I bought it for $60 with another bottle. Thanks Epackage.
