I believe it is milk glass, not ceramic. Maybe not too common for MDers to find, but common for bottle diggers.

Definantly milk glass I dig these up all the time digging bottles or detecting especially when the zinc lid is intact. They scream like silver on my etrac. But it could also be a sign that there's glass there. Did you come across anything else?

It did scream like silver on my Etrac. I found several items in that yard. Pics are found in the Todays Finds. As far as more glass? The yard in areas is almost like a trash pit under neath. Found nothing else "intact".
