I dug this last summer. Been finding similar beakers on the web but nothing with this type of base. Its two pieces, both hand made & etched. Marked in increments of 5. Any idea on age or what it was used for? I'm thinking early 1900s but hoping for late 1800s. The base is 1 & 3/4 inches (diameter). In total its 3 & 1/8 inches tall. Any other needed info or pics please let me know. Thanks!

Appears to be a medical type cylinder. Pouring medicines in certain increments. Hard to tell from the pics on age. How are or what are you digging, a trash pit or privy? Look on sanborn map of area to see if there was a store there. jgas

I've been looking for some of those maps, But no luck yet. This was in a trash pit last used to destroy confiscated booze during prohibition. Those green ones are cool. Think I've seen them busted.
