Is this one a keeper? Does it look too purple? I've seen them go for pretty big bucks on ebay,is this a desirable bottle to have? It is embossed Chero-Cola ,61/2 flu oz. And then Colombus,Ga. around the base .Chero-Cola 26 is embossed on the bottom.

In my opinion....way too purple! But pretty for your window.
I think I tend to agree. It looks like it has been artificially made purple and not by sunlight .I think I will get the mister to sell it at an antique mall we have a booth in.

Its ashamed a perfectly good collectible soda has been manipulated. In my opinion ( for what its worth) i believe it had more value in its original state

Bass I think I agree with you.In reading about bottles, it's not a good idea to artificially color them just to jazz them up but I guess each to their own. I like objects in their natural state.Went to the flea market this weekend and there was a table full of purple bottles and the dealer was trying to convince me the sun did it.

A certain purple tinge, even a fairly deep purple can be caused by the sun. Yours Coily looks too blue for sun coloring. I have found many here in the northeast that the sun had turned a light purple, but have found some in AZ where the sun had really darkened them. This only happens on bottles from a certain period where the minerals in the glass are affected by the sun. This will not happen in newer bottles.
