Some Recent Bottle Finds

Hello All. Don't think I have posted on the bottle forum before but here goes. I have been digging a 19-teens farm house site here in FL and discovered where they buried their trash. On my last two hunts at the site I actually went expressly to hunt bottles. Using a steel probe and my detector I came up with two old garbage dumps and (34) keeper intact glass pieces.

Some of the older ones are medical corkers, also found several soda bottles, a few food stuff jars, and a couple of intact drinking glasses. My favorite bottles are the embossed medical ones, a "Tip Top Beverages" Coca Cola bottle, a "Brevard County Power Company" soda bottle, a decorative jar, and one cobalt blue screw cap.

In addition to the bottles a lot of big iron including part of a rifle, tools, broken dishes, car parts, stove parts, and iron cooking utensils have come to light. This bottle hunting thing is dirty work but great fun...I might be hooked!
