It's been raining here everyday, too. Was at the beach the other day, was raining, I only found a stainless steel ring and a ladies Gruen watch(in the water). One of the (fake) diamonds already fell out, :BangHead: but it's still running. :laughing7: Probably not for long.
The first flash of lightning ran me off the beach, too. :notworthy:

I have one favorite bottle. It was given to me on my 17th birthday by my best teenage friend Woody H. (RIP).
It's a 1923 Christmas Coca Cola bottle from Americus Ga. Supposedly, the only day Coca Cola ever worked their employees on Christmas Day. Don't know if that part is true or not, maybe someone else would know.

Pat-Tekker-cat,

Here's another bottle from Americus Georgia. Fairly common bottle as far as I know but a must if you collect Georgia Hutchinsons.

Wow, this photo got my attention. I have a broken piece that I found while digging. It shows only part of the logo, part of the "registered", and only ____C 25, 192_. I was always curious why anything would be done on Christmas day. Thanks for posting this.

Lots of impressive bottles in the thread, but the amber SCDispensary collection is remarkable!

I thought for some time about which bottle might be a favorite. I finally decided on this one, a 'loaf of bread' demijohn. This bottle is just as crudely-made as it appears. Appearance was not crucial, since it was originally covered with wicker.

I have nothing that compares to most of the pieces shown and you folks have shown some really nice glass. But for me, my 2 favorite bottles are these 2: Garry Owens Strengthening Bitters from New Orleans and my Ruston Steam Bottling Works straight side coca cola from Ruston,LA.
