    The Skunk Bottles

If anyone saw my earlier post, these are the bottles, jars, etc., I found under my house chasing a skunk. The bottles still stink pretty bad....Ill clean them up in a month or two.....

Not terribly old but still interesting.

Yes Jeff, the Coke bottles have Mt. Sterling, KY on them.....the very town I graduated High School in!!!! Stink and all, this is just too cool.....can't wait to get the rest out. I've eyeballed 13 others that I can't get to right now because of the smell. These are right beside the skunks den.....I gotta get him out of there ASAP!

    Nehi!

So hard to find Nehi here.

I recently found a few old Pepsi bottles under an old shed on a friend's property. He was tearing the shack down because it was about ready to keel in and hurt someone if they were inside when it collapsed. Also found some wheaties and a merc dime, and some misc relics.

    Re: The Skunk Bottles

I got pretty good at reading makers marks on bottoms of bottles when I was kid. My dad worked for a glass plant here in pa and he taught me just about every makers mark around at the time.
