The storms pounded us again last night.Got myself back up this morning and headed back to the "creek" after yesterday's walk I had visions of gold coins on top of the ground ,,,,, no gold coins , but gold comes in many forms :). It has just been hammering the rain over the last few weeks, which is very very good around here for washing out all kinds of stuff. I about teared up when I saw the lewis & Engle had a chipped lip then picked up the Colo Spgs and all was good again then I picked up the green 3 piece mold Bitters that I have not seen before and finished with a teal Palmers perfume. I also found a couple of pieces of Turquois, a couple of big clay marbles and a blue Bennington , an old 22 shell and a 44 or 45 ? shell and the lid off of an old whiskey. Waiting for the next big storm !!

Woa!!! That Palmer's is beautiful Charlie. And to think, the past 2 days you didn't even have to use a shovel. Love the color in that 3pc mold too!

Thanks guys ! No shovel needed during the monsoon season. There is a bank along the creek that is about 9 ft high from about 3ft to 6ft has a dump layer ,everytime it floods it undercuts it and caves in large chunks of the bank and then you can find bottles washed out along the creek. I have found bottles as far as a mile down stream when you find them ya just rinse the mud off in the creek and take them home. It rained 3/4" in 45 mins a little while ago and more is forecast fore overnight, I'm going a little farther down stream tomorrow morning 8-) I've been picking up bottles at this spot off and on for over 25 years ,,, well whenever it rains hard !

Unclemac , Santa (my brother) knows ! I've seen other foot prints along the creek, but not right around the bank I'm sure someone else has to know about it . I get there at the crack of dawn if I can ,whenever it storms bad ,I can go 2 sometimes 3 years with out finding anything because there was no erosion.

gotcha...the beach i hunt has a few other hunters but they don't know where to stop and reallllly look. I know every inch of those 7 miles and had to learn it trial and error over more than 50 years. Yesterday I took a musket ball out of another guys shoe print.
