What is the embossing on the stubby bottles in the front row?

Wadsworth Howland & Co was an importer of artist supplies. There's a good chance those bottles may have contained paint, varnish or such

Hey Assassin , Yeah all the small rectengular bottles which I found eight. Were I believe artist oil paints. besides the 3 wadsworth & howland . there were 4 Devoe & Raynold & Co .new york Chicago and 1 Windsor & newton bottle . All artist supply companies . It is hard to find examples of these bottles online ! Looks Like I hit an early 20th century artists privy ! MaineRelic
