Bear Mountain Bottles

I was able to do a bit of searching not too far away from Bear Mountain State Park in NY. Found a whole bottle that says BEAR MOUNTAIN SPRING BOTTLED BY BEAR MOUNTAIN INN NEW YORK BY PALISADES PARK COMMISSION just half buried, and a bunch of shards of other 1900-1925 sodas and waters. The two broken ones are SPARTAN WATER WORKS from NYC and an older version of the whole bottle. My buddy found two whole ones like mine too. The whole one is machine made but early. I'm thinking like 1920 because the inn opened in 1915. Any more info about this, the inn, or the spring water there? Thanks

Only if we were able to hunt those fields surrounding the bear mountain inn..they don't call it Hessian lake for no reason..

I collect nyc, the spartan is almost impossible to find (if it were a blob top) Crown tops are also very uncommon...

In a pretty fast part of the mianus river in CT, and believe it or not I got him on a 3" gulp minnow with a split shot or two. Awesome fight on light tackle.

Pretty sure this one would've been a tooled crown. I guess I better go back and check for more right? Haha
