Help identify bottle

Matt has question about a bottle he found. Take it away Matt:




a couple days ago i went MDing at a park,when looking around i went into a drainage pit in the woods, i stumbled across this bottle.it is 4 inches tall and has a seam running from the bottom to half way up the neck of the bottle. what kind of bottle is it? it looks like it has a D or a B on the bottom of the bottle.it has a lot of air bubbles in it.
(that is not a crack on the lip,its a large air bubble) and the bottom is not flat, the bottle leans a little.very badly done bottle on my opinion. any ID would be appreciated.

Looks like it might be an extract bottle. But a lot of bottles with different contents had the same shape. Without the lable it is difficult to tell.

Yup, I agree. It's a cheeply made (hence the imperfections) and common- often used for extracts- keeping in mind that extracts were not just vanilla and lemon...they were strange concoctions pawned off as medicines. If there's one, there's probably more- it's just a matter of figuring out where they're coming from. If it's a ditch/wash-out, thaen it's probably coming from an old dumpsite which is erroding. Poke around a little more and see what you find! HH
