I don't know if I should say anything.

but since your asking,

& as long as you don't open it & have it Tested,
I suppose for all intent and purposes it is What you were told.

But I have My reservations.

The plain Golden Cap looks allot like the type I used to buy by the Box full
to use to Bottle Home Made root beer.

Only exception, My Bottle-Caper used to leave a pressure ring mark on the top
which yours doesn't have.

But then again, unless it's a different type of Moxie

Why doesn't it have a Labeled Cap ?

You said you searched the Net.
Did you see this ?

I hope you meant $1.75 and not $175.00, it's just a 1950's Moxie missing it's paper label, it being full has little bearing on it's value considering it's so easy to recap crown tops.

It's a Moxie soda made by Glenshaw Glass in the 1950's, it had the Ted Williams paper label on it at one time and it has been refilled and recapped, you got taken by whoever sold it to you. It's not worth more than $1-2, I feel bad for you and I hope you can return it.... Even with the Ted Williams label it's only a $20-25 at best.

It's a 26oz. soda bottle, there are MANY 26-27-28oz. and larger sodas out there, exactly as I told you above. I know you want it to be something special because you made the mistake of paying such a extreme price for it, but that's just not the case. Glenshaw Glass produced these clear Moxie bottles in the 1950's for the Ted Williams soda, pharmaceutical bottles aren't made with crown tops, they are produced with resealable tops. Again, you got taken by someone who must have told you a story you really bought into, but it's obvious there's nothing that's gonna convince you of that. :BangHead:

I just looked at it it is not there anymore it had a 200$ bid and a 750$ buy it now price THAT was the base THAT was the bottle all of what you are showing me are moxie just not my bottle now why would that be? Is my bottle rare and valuable or did they mess up big time like me?

Here's the 1950 version of your same exact bottle, if you like I'll fill it with Coke or Pepsi and cap it with a generic cap and sell it to you for $125, thus saving you $50. I'm sorry you got taken, chalk it up as a lesson learned, I suggest you stop buying things you have no expertise in and do some research before throwing your money away. Sorry if that sounds harsh but it's the truth...

Here's the one you saw, the seller is hoping to find more people just like you who will be fooled into thinking they are buying something rare, they aren't and neither did you.... There's a reason why it hasn't sold the 4 TIMES HE LISTED IT!!! it's a $1-2 bottle, it is not anything special.
