I found a civil war gun barrel with bayonet still on a nice marble and med bottle a dolls head and bakelite bracelet.

Agreed with jgas...time is ticking away now that it is out of the ground where it had acclimated to its resting place.I think you are gonna need a BIG tank.

the bottles look good , the gun barrel does not look salvageable. it's neat to find it but for me , not worth the trouble to preserve it.

I say it's worth a shot. No harm in trying. It's cool that the bayonet was attached to the barrel still I wonder why.
