I had sports hernia surgery 7 weeks ago (mesh repair). I ran my 1st 5K post surgery yesterday. I started jogging (slowly) on the treadmill after 3 weeks. I feel almost normal this week. I've been out hunting 3 times since I had the surgery. The 1st time was ~2 weeks after and that was a bit too early (very sore the next day). I was out for ~2 hours over Easter with zero pain.

Hang in there and it will feel better soon.

Lol, didn't think about that, sorry. However I am planning a colonoscopy later this year and if you wish, maybe I could get some pictures then.

Guy goes into the patient room to get a prostate exam. He says "Doc, where can I lay my pants?" ...Doc says, "just put them over there by mine.

I know your pain! It took me weeks to recover from mine, so I hope your recovery goes fast! Don't push it too hard or you'll re-injure it.
