Been hitting a site that is a bit challenging. It's a steep rocky slope with plenty of ledge. I was convinced that nothing could be whole, but happily I was proven wrong. Amongst the stones and roots a few hardy survivors have been discovered. Many criers littered the site including a handful of Saratoga bottles including an amber cylinder embossed around the base that I haven't seen before. A half dozen Dyotteville iron pontiled bases have been dug up so far, along with an absolute crap load of wines, whiskeys, and ales including a single pontiled black glass base. Also about a dozen broken round bottomed ginger ales, some embossed and some not. Anyways, there were a few whole ones including a large (8 1/2 inches) med marked S. O. Daniels, Druggist, Natick Mass. Also an F. Brown's Ess of Jamaica Ginger, Philadelphia. That S O Daniel Druggist is a great. Show it off again when you give it a bath. Hoping you can find a whole pontil in there somewhere. Good site, keep at it

Those rocky dumps sure are frustrating. It's tough to keep going when everything is broken but you still have some hope that maybe something survived. Good recoveries!

You have an awesome spot there. It sounds like slot of the spots that I dig. That Jamaica ginger is awesome.

Hey Bass, thanks for the encouragement. Gave all my finds a quick bath. The Daniels bottle is still pretty dirty inside but I still took more pics. IMG_20160424_0935168_rewind.jpg IMG_20160424_0935296_rewind.jpg IMG_20160424_0935390_rewind.jpg IMG_20160424_0935478_rewind.jpg

The druggist is larger than I thought! That's a great piece!

Haha....we'll see Gleaner.....sure hope so. Huge amount of broken stuff but there are a few spots that might be hiding something. Here's a close up of the two round bottomed bottles. IMG_20160424_0929116_rewind.jpg IMG_20160424_0930126_rewind.jpg IMG_20160424_0930549_rewind.jpg
