So lately I havnt been doing to much digging I've been pretty busy with work. so I was pretty thrilled to see this squat blob top come rolling out of a hole while planting a Bradford pear tree today at work. I'm just happy it didn't get destroyed by the backhoe. And this is a neighborhood of new construction mcmansions. So I kind of wonder what this property was used for in the past. But my question is does anyone have any info on this m.b& Co 232 west 47th st NY ? Thanks for looking - Justin

Lucky duck. I bet you dove on that thing like a fumble in the 4th quarter! I don't know about the bottle but it's a keeper. I landscaped for 8 years and all I ever found was modern junk.

I don't know anything about it either, but for a New York collector I'm sure it's a gem. Minus a couple of nicks on the lip that's a nice bottle. Good job keeping your eyes open at every opportunity. I've noticed some dirt work going on in my area next to the oldest road in town. I would give anything for a hard rain this week

I have looked it up and found only a few examples and have been beer and soda. mAny are embossed with a date 1861 but who M and B was is a mystery as of yet. Very nice bottle, wonder if more were there. mAybe you should plant a few more trees.

RUB it, see if a GENIE pops out! If she looks like Barbara Eden (TV show "I dream of genie") when she was 25 let me know.

I wish the hildabeast crawls in a hole and Trump wins!

Blob Top Bottle, Antique, Aqua, M.B.& Co, 1861 Is what you found 20.00

Thanks folks. I'm always looking when I'm digging at work. Usually I just come across garbage or shards. I wish I could of poked around there a little more.
