Got the casts off today! It's been 6 long weeks. Wow, so liberating to simply feel the air again. MRI and report on the knee looked great, almost threw up from excitement over the good news - I was afraid they were gonna tell me I needed surgery and more waiting time. Now it's a matter of wiggling my toes and fingers and slowly gettin' a full range of motion in my ankle and elbow. It's almost over!

Can't wait to dig up some more treasure! 'At least 4-5 more months of digging left before the ground gets hard.

It is wild!

Ima digger, my two kitty buds up in cat heaven were definitely lookin' on me! Goldenplug, it's riiiiipe, I've been peeling off what looks like a 1mm layer of wax. Cob, I'll keep you guys posted for sure, I've got unfinished business in a couple spots.

'Hoping to transition to crutches in about a week or so, we'll see, and hit a spot close to home, and then go out from there...

Last night I dreamt that I had suddenly got my strength back, and walked out the door to go digging. Although it was the best sleep I've had in a while the dream was such a tease.

it could have been much worse...years ago i saw a feller on the freeway do kinda what you described...but with a semi...he let it pass him and veered over to get behind him....without thinking it was a double. I was right next to him, had to wipe the blood off my car, i imagine they used a shovel to clean him up. so, like i said...coulda been MUCH worse.
