I only had about an hour to poke around in the mud today but I found the coolest ink I have found in a while . A j&iem igloo turtle ink, I never thought I would find an igloo. Next I found the baby killing Mrs Winslow's soothing syrup.and then last of all I found a nice black ale bottle. The registered flask is one I found yesterday I usually don't keep these but I've never found an aqua one. Thanks for looking - Justin

Beautiful turtle, beautiful everything.

Did the soothing syrup actually kill some babies? Is that because it had opium in it or something?

Looks like the river keeps producing. I'm looking at checking out some rivers soon too, everything seems to be pretty low

Scoped one out today with some shards in it, putting on the tall boots to give it a proper look later this week

Ehh just wear crappy sneakers and swim trunks don't be afraid to get in the water. I also use a two foot probe I made for the mud on the banks.

After cutting my legs and ankles on glass when not wearing boots in similar situations, I like to wear boots now haha. And what's the probe made out of?

Nice ink. Looks like the river hunting is turning out to be successful.

Yeah debris can be slightly brutal. But the probe is made from spring steel that I bought from yarde metals. And I had a machinist buddy bend the triangle handle. Just be gentle when your probing the river and learn to distinguish between the sound of rock and glass.
