Finally got time to dig in my yard again. Found bottle last week then yesterday found my first colonial pipe. Today at 3 foot down in between several bricks I got this glass and a bone handled tooth brush. Is there any way to tell age of a glass?

That's a good start Collector. The bottle looks to be circa 1890-1900. I wish I had a dump in my yard.

That looks like a Garrets Snuff glass. I have dug southern dumps and found 20 or 30 in one spot. They had a metal top. Just a way to sell Snuff. Years later in the 4o range they had little 2 or3 inch high ones that held dried beef.
