Hi; Dug about 8 of these dark green bottles that stand 12 inches tall. Assume they were some sort of wine bottles? They have crown tops and the letters V E on the bottom of the bottle. The seam runs all the way to the top of the crown. They have occasional large bubbles in the glass and all display some form of crude scarring on the sides almost as if they were rough handled as they came out of a mold while hot.

Anyone acquainted with these?

Hey Dug, I have one of these too! I think I've been told before that they are an Italian mineral water or something, something from Europe anyway. Maybe 1910-1920.
