I know it's a long shot, but I'm trying to help a friend who works as a local archeologist with whatever info I can find. I'm assuming it's post 1920's with the threaded top, but I don't remember ever seeing one like it. I've asked her to let me know if anything is embossed on the bottom, and I'll add to the post when she gets back to me. Thanks for any help or ideas.

Let's see a view looking down at the top of the lip. From here it looks like it might have a ground lip, which would make it earlier.
