Hey Everyone,

After finding nothing the one day, I took the long way home and discovered this roadside dump along the way.

Lots and lots of wire, like thick stuff, most of it a quarter inch thick. Super dense. Lots of rocks, big ones that I'll never move. I think it's been pushed around, and so there are sweet spots, hard to find though, probably the toughest dump I've navigated. Lots of ash and burnt glass too. It's got its charm though, and I think it does have potential. But the idea of fully opening this thing up seems impossible.

But I did get some decent finds: a pottery food jar of some sort (it was cracked in half and missing the base, I just put it together for the picture), my first ever encounter with a Horlick's if you can believe it (damaged, but check out the colour of the screw closure vs. the jar body), some sodas, one half of a toy iron horse, a common quart milk, a cobalt Wampole (not rare but I always wondered when I'd find one, kind of like your first Milk of Magnesia), another Horlick's (complete this time), a heartbreaker Paris med, a Radway, a couple of interesting food jars, another Paris med that's cracked along the neck, and finally a marble! I haven't found a marble in a while.

So this dump is worth checking out again, if I don't find a better one or I want a good workout! I'll let you know how it goes.

Good luck out there everyone, and keep 'em coming!

Looks like some nice stuff. May be a case of "go deeper".

Certainly looks like there might be some good stuff there . I know what you mean about getting a workout but when you pull something special out you are not thinking about the work

I like your local Apps druggist bottle, too bad the lip is chipped but it's still a keeper. I like local bottles.

Thanks dudes! I went back today, for a couple hours. I have NOTHING to show you, unless you want to see my colour run of Milk of Magnesias! haha
