Can't read the embossing or tell where the pony bottle is from, the stoneware bottle is $5-10 if you could even find a buyer, they made those UK ales by the millions...

So here's one of them hey John and CJ postal mineral water Cincinnati Ohio. On the other side it says p this bottle is never sold. The bottom has an iron pontil mark? They say it's pre Civil War but that's far as the dating process goes that I can get.

There's a little bit of information about where this bottle was found. This bottle was dug up under Paul Brown Stadium and the dirt was moved to the practice Stadium when it was found in the pile of dirt.

This bottle unsure about the age. I'm guessing it's around 1880 if I'm wrong please correct me. The bottle reads J.H OverDiek mineral water Cincinnati Ohio. That's the only thing this bottle says.

This bottle is the same and different. This one says h&c overdiek mineral water Cincinnati Ohio. On the back says O this bottle is never sold. I'm guessing he went into business with somebody else.

Now this little bottle I believe was an opium bottle? I'm not entirely sure the date of this bottle either so if you could help me out anybody that would be great.

They are all old, the pontiled mineral water and the pontiled "puff" being the oldest. In the future I would recommend more bottle and MUCH LESS background. If you can a window sill with the sky as the background is the ideal way to show off the embossing, color and other pertinent things bottle collectors want to see. What you think is an opium vial could also be something like Haarlem Oil, it came in bottles just like over a very long period of time, it's origins date back to 1696...

Congrats, nice finds, pics like this would be great... gb1.jpg

The Overdiek bottles in good condition are $50-70 bottles, the pontiled mineral water is most likely a 3 digit value, how high I don't know, the rest aren't anything more that $10-25 bottles, except maybe for what looks like a pontiled med in the post with the pumpkin seed flask....

No need to be sorry, just trying to help address the value and condition for you, you're in a great spot, you might not want to share the location or you might get overrun by other diggers... ;)

It says laminate nerve and Bone. As for the location, you can't get to it anymore because of the NFL stadium over it, unfortunately. There were 6 privys in a row all natural rock walls. Right now just for the fun of it I'm trying to find pictures of back when they were in use.

Yea you got a hot spot for sure, keep them coming.

Absolutely! I now know what to look for in bottles and how to determine their age. It makes the whole bottle finding process even more fun
