I found this bottle fragment coming out of a what I believe to be a dump. The bottle I don’t think is very old, but the glass is thick. I want to determine the general chronology, of the dump before I dig too much. The bottom has a design, and writing. The writing says 10 Flozs A-55 187 B 10. Thanks for the chronology, I might refrain from digging or there might be a lower layere. Regardless, thank you for the response.

You could always make a test hole and see what else is underneath. Like you said, there could be an older layer!

Looks like it was in a Major Fire,
That could be a Good sign if on a House site

Thanks, I will probably try a test hole. Interesting you say it is burned, I will most definitely check out the area. Thanks again!

Yes it Looks Severely Melted.

I've seen the Sun Reshape pieces of glass ,
But unless I'm looking at it Wrong
that looks like it was close to Turning to Liquid.

It may have happened in a Camp Fire,
Or even Trash Pit.

But there are Possibility of Something good there
