Hi, Just found this jug at my parents house (father passed years ago and we’re moving my mother to a new location). I’m wondering if it’s anything to get excited about. Any help would be appreciated, including a value. Not sure if I’ll be selling though.

I am not an expert! Don't get too excited. Marked 2, probably 2 gallon, salt glazed, plenty of potteries made jugs to carry liquids from liquor to molassas to milk. Made anywhere from 1880s to 1930s. Looks to be in descent shape. Try https://www.crockerfarm.com/stoneware-auction/ to get a value, but I don't expect it to be worth more than $60-$70. Unless it can be attributed to a known desirable potter.

Whiskey, syrup, any bulk liquid and as mentioned, not worth a whole lot but it is definitely something to get excited about. Great find in my book and thanks for sharing it with us.
