Hi everyone. I figured as an introduction I'd post some of the best finds from my most recent dig. I've been working in a massive dump all summer. Unfortunately, the project has been put on hiatus due to college, but I hope to get back in there later this month. These bottles the best ones from my most recent excursion, and only the ones I could clean before I ran out of time (as you can see in the crate, there's quite a few more left to scrub). If there's any interest, I'll post more pics from my past digs.

This Charles and Co bottle is one of the best bottles I've ever found. It's pretty close to mint. You can imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the ground, being as it bears my name. I haven't been able to find anything on the Charles and Co bottling company anywhere, save a few newer circular whiskey bottles for sale online. If you've ever seen this bottle before or have any information on the company, please let me know!

Honest Measure whiskey bottle. Also haven't been able to find this one anywhere.

A local Hutchinson. Found a few other whole ones from different companies that same day. Don't have any pictures on hand unfortunately

This bottle is elusive. I found another one in 3 pieces on the first day I dug at this hole. A month and a half later, a whole one emerged! Busted lip is unfortunate, but I'll still take it. I haven't been able to find a thing about this bottle anywhere. I'm assuming it's a beverage, but Lactone is a semi obscure chemical used as an ingredient for flavoring. If you have any info on this one please let me know.

Some other bottles from the same dig I didn't get around to cleaning before I left.

It's a pleasure to find a gathering place for fellow bottle nuts. If you've seen the Honest Measure bottle anywhere, or have ANY information on the Lactone bottle or the Charles & Co bottle, please let me know.

Seems my pictures all came out sideways. They're all the right way up on my computer, so I have no clue why that happened. My apologies. This is my first post, so I've still got some formatting things to figure out

Cool finds! I can't say I've seen any of those except for maybe the Charles, which looks like a whiskey for some reason. The Lactone is just neat as hell.

Wonder if there could be a relation? (It's American, not British).

I've actually seen that bottle while researching mine before. I didn't think it was connected because it was a cordial as opposed to a whiskey, and the lettering (see the Rs) and body design looked much different. No "& Co" as well. Could be connected, though. Not enough info to tell for sure
