    More bottles

Well I found the spot where my woman was picking cans. This place has bottles every where and I just picked a few that looked interesting. The little flat bottle has markings that read castoria on one side and the other side it says Chat.HKetchgers I think thew bottom has a c on it. The bottle has a blue tint to it. The large blue bottle has a small hole in it and I had trouble getting water out of it. It must of been a glass stopper in it, I don't know. I'm the new guy but finding these bottles it fun. The small blue bottle is a Bromo bottle I think. I have a question if there is screw threads on the neck is it considered to have no value?? I'm going back tomorrow with a small shovel and something to scratch the ground with. Its snowing now so that might be on hold. All these bottles were under the leaves in the woods and all of them had moss, dirt and what ever else you can think of in the bottle. Oh yea found another Starbright bottle as well. Let me know if I'm on to something. Its a shame because there were some nice ones there and they were broken Thanks for listening and waiting for some feed back. I'm like a little kid again, Pete aka badboy

They look very nice to me. I'm no expert either, but I usually keep any that were made to take a cork. I think you're in for a lot more fun.

I love old bottles too, congrats on your finds. What are you using to get them so sparkling clean?

My wife has a bottle brush and I put some ivory liquid inside and get busy. These bottles were all on the surface right under the leaves on the forest floor. I have not dug any dirt yet but going back tomorrow if it doesn't snow too much

Yes that's what I figured but the snow put the dampers to it today. I only found a few, found a promo bottle, I don't know if they make those blue bottles anymore. It had the cap on it which was a screw cap and a real bugger to clean. I'm new at it so anything that has color goes on the shelf in my detecting room, They look great on a shelf, I will be spending some time at this location once it warms up a bit. Ive even asked the neighbor where she dumped all her bottles because she is 65 years young and born in this house . She told me they dumped them across the street but I could not find anything. I don't think they would be on the surface anymore. Where I'm finding these bottles is only off the road about 6 feet. I want to get into the woods deeper and look around, Its all in fun
