    Bottle Help

    Hello fellow Tneter's,

I found this piece of a bottle the other day at an old ghost town's dump site in AZ.

    Any help would be great.

    The embossed bottom says:

    NO 65
    PATIN US
    DEC 22 1903

Why the specific date? The bottle shard is a light purple and about 2 inches across.

    Thanks,
    Fishstank

    Re: Bottle Help

That fragment is actually to a fruit canning jar, not a bottle. I found a link to one thats for sale on ebay, The date puts it as TOC or early 1900s, so it'll probably have some cool friends buried nearby to dig up. Good luck!

Thanks Treasurekid. At least now it gives me a better understanding of what I have.
