Classic Coke, Part two-how about this one,new pics

Hi all, this is my first bottles post.
Anyhow last week I found this nice amber Coca-Cola bottle while hunting a stream bed for Indian artifacts.
It's quite worn but Its a cool bottle nontheless. Also pictured are some of my other bottles, many of which were also found as I was looking for Indian artifacts. It's not unusual to find small bottle dumps and when I do I always check them out., UNITAS

Those pharmacy bottles are some of my favorites too. They are from two different pharms in my hometown, Fremont Ohio. The Grund Pharm is still there. I love local connections and those can certainly be found with old bottles. ,U

I was given a Coke bottle with "Altoona" on the bottom of the bottle. Probably not worth much to anyone else, but my route is in...Altoona Pa. and it is my most prized Coke bottle.

Cool, Most of the coke bottles I find say Toledo. Its interesting when I find diff. cities. I must admit I've yet to find an Altoona.

    Re: Classic Coke

In the past few years, you could go right to the store, buy Coke in a glass 6pk, and find a city stamped on the bottom. These bottles are probably not worth anything unless you are trying for a full set. I don't even know how many cities there are. The bottle I have is older and the glass is thicker. Like when they used to only put Coke in a bottle.

Very nice collection! The ones with the embossed lettering are the most valuable. Have you search to find out anything about your coke bottle? Would like to know how old it is when you find out, keep us posted.

Thanks, The Coke bottle I believe is from the early part of last century, perhaps 1910 to 1920. Not 100% sure though, not an expert,I'm more of a beginner. Fun to dig though., Unitas

    Nice amber double-diamond Coca-Cola!

    I believe those date c. 1905-15.

Not sure of the current value, but in the past I've seen 'em go for $100.

Found this listing for a Toledo like yours, that sold for $65 in 2006:

Wow that's cool. It's been awhile since I've been on the bottle forum, thanks everyone for the info. and comments.

I'm under a good bit of snow now, might have to take a few photos and make a few new posts of my old finds since the new ones are waiting for Spring.
