need advice bountyhunter sharpshooter II

hello ,
has anyone used the sharpshooter in water , am considering buying one to detect swimming holes when weather warms up, advice plse , thanks

As long as you don't get the control box wet it should do just fine in shallow fresh water.

I use mine in freshwater frequently; remember to keep both the box & coil connector dry. You may wish to hunt in all metal mode and note that temp. changes will effect your sensitivity; generally, from hot outside to cooler water raise sensitivity and cool to hot vice-versa. I also submerege the coil for about a minute in the water before I start detecting.
