    need manual

    a friend has come across a tandy (radio shack) detector the only numbers
    he can find on it is 63315, anyone ever came across this model?
    we need to find out how to tune it, has 3 buttons. i havent seen the
    unit, told him i would ask here, somebody should know about it
    thanks
    if there was something to be down here, it got misplaced, hope its metal, a nice coin perhaps, now where's my detector

    You Could try there web site. i know they have a lot info you can down load there.
    MDing is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get.
    Or is that Life is like a............... no matter it is the same thing

    friend is trying to get pics of this det. when he does
    i will post them and try again

    On that web site that spooky put up there is a 633015 i clicked on it and a detector came up with 3 knobs or buttons on it in the manual.

    That 3015 is the ver of the bounty hunter land star it is a killer machine I have one I have had it for years

    Mostly Tesoro units-I've owned five of them--but I've used Whites,Fishers,Garretts,Nautilus, Minelab, and Detex.

    Really old Radio shack detectors were cheapo types that usedabout 6 0r 8 AA BATS and had the old D-handle on them I believe...were black-colored plastic and not too darn good at all. The Bounty hunter units with the newer S-handles are a slight improvement over those old dinosaur units of the early to mid 8o's and earlier. And the best I've seen probably is the LANDSTAR or LAND RANGER. But these cost a god deal more than those cheapo types do...YOU MOSTLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, YA KNOW!
