Today's hunt

Since I am at my sister in law's house I went to the state fair grounds in Baton Rouge today with my brother in law to see if we could find anything. I took the 505 and he took his Discovery 3300. Lots of trash, trash, trash. I found 1 quarter, 3 dimes, 4 pennies and did I mention trash. He found 4 pennies, 1 dime and more trash. In his defense, while he has a lot of detector, he really does not get out with it very often. He did well considering the area. Unbelievable amount of can slaw and pull tabs. We also found a few fake silver ear rings and other assorted fake jewelery. Had a good time til my batteries went dead. Oh well, that's my luck. Thanks for reading and Happy Hunting.

you hit the state fair ground---did you have to ask permission?
just wondering cause another thread mentioned state park carnival grounds vs. private state fairgrounds etc. and I am wondering if I can hit my local county fairgrounds without asking permission.......
