I've had my BH 101 out a couple times at a old school football field and have been doing ok. Just pocket change no silver but I'm having a blast. ($3.68) Getting to know the BH I have found to coin shoot it seems to work better at discriminating in tone mode with sen. set at about 1or 2 oclock and Dis. set about 12. The only thing that I cannot disc.out is aluminum even at full disc. Is this just something I'm going to have to live with or is there something else I can do? With my settings this way I shouldn't be ruling put any gold rings should I? Sorry if this is a Newb question.......buy then again I'm a Newb.

Unfortunately with that machine, you need to either deal with digging everything, or guessing what is and isn't aluminum and missing the good stuff. The discrimination isn't very good. You can still have fun with it, and it's a fun coin shooter.
