Works great in the dry sand. As for wet sand.... I have not had good results.(Tho, there may be more optimal settings than what I tried?)

It will manual ground balance to 0 (salt)...so that is a huge start over the similarly priced Ace 400 that some say does quite decent in wet sand. LRP has All-Metal as well..something else the Ace 400 also lacks.

Of course there is the obligatory disclaimer..."it is a single freq machine and will not do well on wet beaches"....blah blah

As adjustable as it is..and the proven Frat Bros 7.7khz platform it is based off of...it is as good of a place as any to start in the price range. Nothing compares to it at it's $285 price. Just my opinion of course.
