Buy a new Cibola and you will never have to worry about paying one dime toward repairs for life. How is that for reliable?

Lol I know but that's really expensive I would like to stay in the 100-200 range at the most

As soon as I read the OP my thought was, "Depends on what you consider to be 'intermediate.' "

I doubt that many here would consider that to really be an intermediate price range, but suggest you might wish to consider going 'used' to start, with that budget.

Ace 250 will get you hooked on the hobby in that price range. It's a great detector in my opinion.
