Hello,

I,m looking at buying a detector, but there is soooo many out there. Also, I,m really looking at the upper end market. Ok,I,w explain. I want to use it also in our daily work if possible and not just for a hobby.

So far I research the minelab 5000 pro, Garret 2500 and then somebody sent me info on this. Made in germany.

Black Hawk - Pulse Induction Metal Detector - OKM Metal Detectors

GPA DUO-XL 2in1 ground scanner and metal detector up to 10 m (32 ft) depth

For hobby, minerals/meteorites and just the normal war relics.

For work, undeground voids, cabling and stuff. (if this is tooo much, then I,w stick just to the hobby side.

Due to our currency devluating against the U$, this can get extremely expensive for me,and thus I really need to do proper research.

All help will be much appreciated.
Thank You

Two recommendations:

Listen to Woof! (he develops detectors professionally).

Buy from a dealer.

There are so many crappy, clone or counterfeit detectors being marketed now that you should really know who you are buying from.
