Okay Folks,

A local Pawn Shop has a used but like new Garrett Ace 350 with a Garrett Finds bag and headphones included and I can get it out the door for only $180. I was thinking about purchasing it for my grandkids to use, so they don't screw up my' more expensive metal detectors. I already had one messed up by my youngest grandson when he snuck it out and start turning the knobs back and forth and flipping the Ground Balance toggle back and forth. Now, I can't get it to Ground Balance or even work on some of the settings. So what do you all think? Would you jump on the Garrett Ace 350 for that price? Thanks in advance for any advice and help!

Sure that's a fair price if it works.

Hey Huntsman -

I find my 350 VERY easy to use - and it could be a back up machine for you if they lose interest.

Are the Critters old enough to not mindlessly toss the equipment down to dig?

Anything to get them off video games and out moving I am in favor of -

I would buy it! I found. The 350 was every bit as deep as the AT when I compared both machines.
