    button help

    I found a small plain front button. It's a half inch in diameter. On the back it says TREBLE in an old english type lettering and colour in small block letters. Sorry I can't take a picture. Should be from early to mid 1800's

    Seems to be an old brittish disc-button for civilian clothing;perhaps a colonists one.

    I don't have a camera for close ups. All I have is a scanner. This is the best I can get it.
