Can you help ID - Solved - Early 1900s NY militia button

This button was found in a field in Southern NH that has produced large cents, colonial flat buttons and some military buttons from late 1800's/early 1900's. I found a Maine Militia button , 1820's, in a nearby field. On the base in the front is EXCELSIOR and around the sides and back are 13 stars. No backmarks. All I could find about it is it is a New York button. I'm guessing it is from a uniform. Anyone have more information? Thank you.

Tice's shows a similar front on NY218A1-D1. No back mark and the style of shank would make it post CW. Most likely it came from an uniform though. Nice find!
