Looks like a U.S. Artillery button, c. 1808-1821, quite similar to the AY 52 varieties in Albert's book, although he doesn't list that particular backmark.

Very nice button.......Here in NY there were plenty of battles along Lake Erie and Canada. Found a few here and there.....
