    Mil. buttons of some kind help

    can anyone help whit there buttons.
    They r a little bigger tha a nickle no back marks
    Found in an old cellar hole here in N.Y.

    I`v been detecting for 40 years owned my own detector shop G.A.P. Metal Detectors ..and loved every minute of it,hunt with a guy thats been doin it for 43 yrs 607 398 8669

    I'm no button expert, but I believe they are both British.

    Thanks for the reply to my post ...you nailed it...i posted them under What is it forum and we all agreed they r indeed those buttons and the ones i found r reproductions, i guess some modern r made for reinactments

    yup, repro's for sure. The shanks are a dead give away.
